what every religion preaches,
and what most
people who call themselves religious forget,
is for you to listen for
the voice of god within your own heart,
and to place no other voice
above it.
if you aren't doing that, you're doing it wrong.
you have a direct line.
you don't need anyone to interpret or translate the message.
it speaks for itself.
the
heart is the vessel, the cup, the holy grail.
they went looking in
all the wrong places
for something they already had all along.
