let's pretend, for just a few minutes, that big pharma doesn't have big money and doesn't buy scientific research that supports claims that increase profits, and that they don't squash any evidence that might implicate their products in harming people.
okay, then what?
well, then we might have a real dialogue about to start. so let's pretend they don't want to prevent that from happening, too.
