how about, instead of supporting more institutions that serve to indoctrinate the youth into control-based society, we start supporting the mothers whose job is to care for them? how about, instead of sending those institutionalized youth off to prison when they make bad decisions, we start asking ourselves what happened to them that disabled their decision-making abilities in the first place? when do we stop coming up with solutions that never work because we aren't asking the right questions?
